Help/FAQ

1.1. For which offences do you ban players?
We ban players for the following offences:
  • PunkBuster Cheat Violations (including PB MD5Tool facility)
  • FairFight Bans
  • Battlelog Stats indicating that a Cheat has been used
  • Battlereports indicating that a Cheat has been used
1.2. Which Indicators link Players together?
These Indicators can link Players together. Please note that non-disclosed Indicators can also link Players together.
  • Same PersonaID
  • Same PBGUID
  • Same IP within 24 hours

2. Playercheck/Search

2.1. Which properties can I search for?
You can search for the following properties:
  • Playername (current and previous)
  • 247FairPlay ID
  • PersonaID
  • PB GUID
  • IP address
2.2. What is a 247FairPlay ID?
A 247FairPlay ID is a number identifying a combination of Game and PersonaID and/or PBGUID

You can see the 247FairPlay ID in the URL in your browser when visiting a player here.

For example:
https://247fairplay.com/CheatDetector/ID/1234

2.3. What is a PersonaID?
PersonaID is a number identifying a player in Battlefield Battlelog.

You can see the PersonaID in the URL in your browser when visiting a player in Battlelog.

For example:
https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/MrPr0Pl4y3r/stats/1234567890/pc/

2.4. What is a PBGUID?

PB = PunkBuster

"In general, GUID is an acronym that stands for "Globally Unique Identifier". The GUID inside PunkBuster is used to identify players with something more solid than their playing name or IP address. Your guid is loosely based on the CD key that was used to install the game on your computer."

2.5. Why are some players refered to by more than one 247FairPlay ID?
These several IDs refer to the same Player via different Identifiers that could not be joined to just 1 Identifier. One ID probably refers to the Player regarding their PBGUID and the other ID refers to the Player regarding their PersonaID.
2.6. Why can I not see full IP addresses?
Only certain groups are allowed to allways see the full IP addresses of all players:
  • Administrators
  • Moderators
2.7. What is "stats padding"?

"Stat padding is the act of recieving undeserved points due to abnormal and unhelpful gameplay."

Regarding CheatDetector, stats padding can get you banned, if it makes your stats look like a cheat has been used (because they are not normally reachable).
2.8. What is HSK, KH, KPM or ACC?
  • ACC: Accuracy (How many of your shots hit the enemy?)
  • HSK: Headshots per kills (How many of your kills where kills with headshots?)
  • KH: Kills per hit (How many hits does it take to kill an enemy)
  • KPM: Kills per minute
  • KKA: Kills per Killassists
2.9. Why are my Battlereports missing?
We cannot save all Battlereports for all players. This would be too much data.

However we are working on a way for you to request individual Battlereports.
2.10. What are "PunkBuster Violations"?

"When PunkBuster detects a cheat or hack by repeated positive identification on a player's computer, a violation is raised. These violation numbers are 50000 and higher."

Different families of cheats have distinct violation numbers:
  • #50000s - Aimbot
  • #60000s - Wallhack
  • #70000s - Multihack
  • #80000s - Gamehack
  • #90000s - 'Cheat' Video Drivers
  • #100000s - Speedhack

For PunkBuster Violations with the message "MD5TOOL #9XXX", please refer to the "PB MD5Tool facility" explained at https://www.evenbalance.com/pbmd5.php.
2.11. What are "PunkBuster Restrictions"?

"There is a whole category of kicks by PunkBuster known as Restriction kicks. These are not meant to be treated as cheat violations. These kicks are reserved for programs, drivers, etc. that contain methods not generally allowed on PunkBuster servers. We encourage admins to never ban for Restriction kicks."

2.12. How are players linked together?
Players are linked to each other by comparing various identifiers. These include, but are not limited to the following:
  • PersonaID
  • PBGUID
  • IP Address
2.13. Why are not all weapon stats visible?
Only weapons with at least 1 kill are shown.
2.14. Why is my player not shown?
We can only show your stats/player once we cached them. Try searching for your player's ingame name. You can also contact an Admin or Moderator by sending an email to [email protected] if this problem persists.
